# Orders history policy (P7.DOC.05)

## Decision (locked)
**Archive-only.** Do not import historical Shopify order lines into the TRA inventory/accounting ledger.

## Rationale
- Avoid polluting append-only inventory and GL with incomplete historical cost data.
- Shopify remains the system of record for pre-cutover orders.

## Snapshot (optional)
Export CSV for support lookup only:
- order_number, email, created_at, currency, total, financial_status, fulfillment_status
- Store under secure ops storage (not application DB).

Account order history on TRA starts at go-live. Pre-cutover orders: support lookup process in `runbooks/hypercare.md`.
